Patterson, his ALMS title was his fifth in nine years. His drive towards the Sunoco sponsored crown, included seven feature wins, and 16 feature finishes among the top five. His title brought him $5,000 from Sunoco, along with a chassis from C. J. Rayburn Automotive and a Bert Transmission.
