Absolutely not, it's a guy from marshall, mo. Edwards has done nothing for racing in central mo.

I wasn't trying to bash or start a massive argument, just informing everyone that nothing has changed. Good thing a multi grooved capital speedway was shut down and buried so this shit track could be built. Maybe I'm a little biased

Capital Speedway was a "Super Track" for sure but you will never see another race at that location. Guaranteed! We enjoyed racing at the Lake & hope they re-open. We would definitely make the trip.
 
Once called I55 my home track when living in Hillsboro, now at the lake and great to have wheatland and now Lake Ozarks Speedway opening to see weekly sprints

I can do without the Sprints but I've been to Lake O several times and it was good racing. I saw Jason Feger win there and we all know where he runs.
 
That's cool. Raced there once, it was fun. Nice track, nice facility from what I remember. Cool that its opening up again, hope it gets a lot of support.

Guys last name is Trimble that bought it I believe. April 23 is predicted opening night but only work done so far is mowing of grass on track. A lot of work is needed, they asked for volunteers. Sprints(ascs warrior races on schedule), usra a mods, bmods(massive argument on going usra or no sanctioning), ULMA Lates, and a street stock class. Big turnout of people, I was impressed. The sprints had the best turnout, amods the worst. They're gonna have to put in some serious work to have the track and facility in shape. The owners talked the talked and seem excited about the track but it's a whole new world for everyone involved.
