Season Of Ups and Downs Comes Down To This!

Dropping the checkered-flag on an inaugural season that has spanned more than 3 and a half months, the World of Gladiators Online Racing League series presents the 1st Annual "Clash of the Gladiators" Season Finale event at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS next Sunday night on January 29th, 2006!
The stars-in-cars of the WOG IMCA Modified Series as well as the WOG Concept Modifieds will take to the WIDE, high-banked, 3/8-mile clay oval for the first time, in which should be nothing short of a dandy!
Heading into this weekend's event at the Belleville High Banks, the 151 BMS Modified of Dusty Wiegert (Wiggy) is just 1 point ahead of the 44 Brian Powers Hoffman of Joshua Lanterman.
Just three weeks ago the points lead was at 88, and now, Lanterman has somehow managed to keep battling and not give up, and has got the lead down to 1 point!
The IMCA Modifieds will feature a special format for this special occasion. Drivers will as always join the WOG Chatroom for check-in from 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM and be assigned to their heat race. However, instead of simply running one race with their coveted group of drivers, the race will be ran TWICE.
The first running of the 15-Lap heat race will be randomly generated by the race server, and the start of the second edition will be based off of last race's finish, in reverse order. HOWEVER, there is a catch. Each running of the heat / qualifying race is for points, and the two drivers with the most points out of each heat race transfer to the 100-Lap `A' Main event.
The 93 of Jeremy Massey (Rocketman) hailing out of Valley Center, KS has already clinched a spot in the 100-Lap `A' Main finale, by winning the 1st Annual Mid-Season "Battle-of-the-States Race" at Knoxville Raceway earlier this season. Massey has also earned a spot in the Pole Dash race at The Clash, and does not have to compete in any Heat / Qualifying Races.
We hope to see EVERYONE that has raced in the past and will race in the future join us for a night of memories and fun, as we get together one last time to wrap up this inaugural season for the World of Gladiators Online Racing League!
