Late Model driver Brook Phillips injured in Modified accident..

While driving a modified car for Bill Moyer, Brook Phillips flipped during an event in Las Cruces, NM. Early reports said he was "severly" injured. No other info has been released.

Heard he has neck and back injuries....might be able to fly home later this week.

I haven't heard much about the accident (which is odd beings I watch the Kansas City boards and he is from the Wichita area). All I know is that it was a nasty flip on a high banked little track. He ran NCRA modifieds for quite a while out in Kansas and has been running a Late Model and modified financed by Moyer recently.
