(Lebanon) The UMP Late Model Summer Nationals hit the high banks of
the Lebanon I-44 Speedway tonight for a special Tuesday night of racing in the Ozarks. Many of the top Late Model drivers in the country are competing in this grueling schedule of 28 races in 30 days.

Keep your eyes out for Dennis Erb, who drives the #15 Late Model out of Carpentersville, IL. Erb is off to a hot start, winning the first two races on the UMP Summer National tour at Kankakee Speedway and Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Indiana. Erb placed 6th place Sunday night at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN.

Also look for UMP Late Model points leader Wes Steidinger, and others like Kevin Cole, Jason Feger, and Rusty Schlenk to race tonight on the high banked red clay at speeds in excess of 105 MPH.

The UMP Summer National tour raced at Jefferson County Raceway in Mt.
Vernon, IL, Monday night before heading to the Ozarks for tonight's race.

Track owner Randy Mooneyham expects a car count of at least 40 late models at the high banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, as local favorites like Brad Looney, Brandon McCormick, Larry Jones and Dustin Mooneyham face off against the fast late model drivers of the UMP Summer Nationals.

Factory Stock and Bombers will also race Tuesday night at the Lebanon
I-44 Speedway. Gates open at 5PM, and racing starts promptly at 730PM.
