Lebanon,Mo.-The High-banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway will have several special things for the racing action this coming Sat.Night as not only will the LateModels be running for a 2,000 to win 25 lap feature, and not only will second place in the LateModels be recieving ans extra 500,but a lucky fan there that night will be given $500.

No gimmicks,no tricks, just the fact that a very special race sponsor stepped up to the plate and said"I want to put 2000 into your program on Sat.Night and I love the LateModels,so please add 1000 more to the winner,500 extra to second place, and the fans at I-44 are great,so please give one of them 500 Sat.night.

The funny thing is that this sponsor wanted no mention of his business,no mention of his name, just wanted the track to have a good time!!

"Nowadays, you always dream of having some sponosr to do extra, but gentleman isn't even a Lebanon area business" quoted track promoter Randy Mooneyham."He loves LateModel racing and likes the atmosphere that I-44 has,so he wanted to do it this away,no questions asked, well that's the way it will be next Sat Night. Our LateModel weekly show pays 1,000 to win the 25 lap feature and 600 for second place,so those 2 positions are going for some great money-2,000 to win a 25 lapper is very uncommon and getting 1100 for second place is very good. With the Dream being run at Eldora next Weekend, and the MARS Series not racing we expect a great field of cars.We have been averaging about 18 LateModels on the Weekly Show and that's pretty good. The competition has been great this season with only 2 repeat feature LateModel winners in Gary Webb and Brad Looney. This type of payoff will really get the attention of alot of drivers as we do pay 125 to start beyond 11th place. Our rules are the same as MARS and that really helps, but for this business to want to get a fan involved with a $500 giveaway and nothing in return is Outstanding.Really its better than playing the lottery. You come Sat night, buy your ticket and we will draw at intermission for the Giveaway, and also will get a great night of dirttrack racing.

The Lebanon I-44 Speedway is located off exit 135 on Interstate 44.Gates open at 5 with Hotlaps at 7 and Racing at 7:30 sharp. For more information visit the website at www.monettspeedway.com, or call promoter Randy Mooneyham in the evenings at 417-732-2766
