Lebanon,Mo.-The Lebanon Midway Speedway is working at getting ready for the 2005 racing season as more seating and a very aggressive schedule is being finished up.

The track located about 5 miles out of Lebanon will being running its points races on Friday Nights with 305 Sprints, Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers, and Mini-Stocks on the regular race card.

A few scheduled Sat Nights will also be on the card as 5 Enduro Events along with 2 other classes are being scheduled as these Enduro 150 lap events will pay 2000 or more to win.Track Owner Harold Armstrong is working hard not only on the schedule, but is adding over 2000 more seats to the Midway and is also changing the track just alittle.

"The Enduro Specials are very popular for us and it allows a person to not wrap-up alot of money in a cars and these people know they will be able to run it more than just once.We are also looking at giving points in these events and honoring an Enduro Champ in our season ending banquet."The O'Reilly MLRA Super LateModels are currently talking with us and it looks as if Sat Night June 25th is the tenative date for them to make a visit to the Midway. Our Sat Specials will include at least 3 classes total and pay out alittle more money than out normal Friday night purse. The Legends Cars out of Oklahoma have been in contact with us along with the SMRS Midgets from the Oklahoma region. We are working on final dates for these classes and area TractroPulls and Truckpullers are also calling trying to work into our schedule.

This season our Friday night shows will see the Sprints getting 400 to win and at least 75 to start,Modifieds the same,SuperStocks will be bumped up in pay starting the season to at least 350 to win,FactoryStocks,Bombers and Mini-stocks will remain close to the same as last season," said Armstrong.

Last year we got started in the end of July and things really took off good for us.The stands were packed almost every night and the pits were getting fuller and fuller.THis season the only real change alot wil see on our Friday Night shows will have the winner from the previous week starting inside row 6 while we draw every night and use the pill draw for inversions. Our first Race is scheduled for Friday Night April 29th as the points battles will begin.I'm working and changing the track just alittle as turns 3&4 will go outwards alittle more and possibly a wall will be poured there to keep the drivers in the ballpark. We are also working on changing our website and address.Once it's up it will be www.Lebanomidwayspeedway.com and we feel more info will be there.

"I really apreciate all the fine local support we recieved last season and it seemed as if everyone had fun and a good time.
