Lebanon,Mo.-The Lebanon Midway Speedway is set for a very busy 2005 season with an aggressive schedule and something for everyone.
The regular season will feature Friday Night starting on April 29 with action at its finest as the Winged Sprints, Mighty Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers, and Mini-stocks will do battle on the newly expanded banked oval.Banking has been added and the track is approx.40 foot longer than last season as 2000 extra seats has been this season and the Granstands have been changed to give more room for all.
Special events on Friday Nights will feature Double Points nights on May 13,June 24th and July 29th.THe kids 10 and under will get there chance to get on the clay oval during intermission as kids bike races are currently scheduled on May 27, and Sept.9.This will give the kids a place to release some energy towards the end of the school year and also at the beginning of one. A kid's coin scramble is set for July 8th during the intermission break and Fireworks will blaze the Laclede County sky on July 1st.while the season Championship will be held Sept 16th.In the event of rain on double points nights,they will be ran the following week.
The area Sprinters will recieve 3 regular nights off on June 10, July 8,and Sept. 9th in preparing for the tracks Sat Night special events while the Mini-stocks will have 2 special paying races on the regular Friday night shows.On Friday June 10th and 11th,the SMRS Midgets will tackle the Midway for a full weekend of racing action for there only scheduled apperance of the season.
Sat Night Special events will be held for Enduros on May 14th along with racing for the Legends cars,Modifieds,and FactoryStocks,June 11th-Enduros,Sprints,and Midgets will thrill the crowd.On June 25th,the O'Reilly Autoparts MLRA Super Latemodels will headline the card along with racing for the SuperStocks,and Factorystocks.July 8th Enduros ,Sprints,and Bombers top the Sat Special and on July 30th the WOW 360 Sprints pull the horsepower on the Midway along with SuperStocks and Bombers.Aug. 13th Enduros,Legends,and Factorystocks compete,and the season ending Enduro Challange will complete on Sept 10th along with Sprints and Modifieds.Friday Racing action starts at 8PM while Sat action will begin at 7:30
The Sat. Specials will pay extra money to the regular classes and will also offer 20 extra bonus points on those night towards the season points battles.Tractor Pulls will highlight the track action on May 28th and also on Aug 27th.
The Sat.Night Enduro specials will feature 150 lap events fro the Enduros and will pay 1500-2000 to win. Points will be given to the top 5 finishes each race and a Series Enduro Champion will be honored along with the top drivers from the 2005 Race season
