Lebanon,Mo.-The Lebanon Midway Speedway has announced a 5 race Enduro Series for the 2005 Race season.These Special events will be 150 laps and will pay anywhere from 1500-2000 to win the event and will be ran on the following Sat Night dates.May 14,June 10th,July 9th,Aug.13,and Sept.10.There will be special paying races for the tracks normal Friday Night classes also being ran those nights which include 305 Winged Sprints, Superstocks, Modifieds, FactoryStocks, and Bombers with the Sat Specials starting at 7:30.
The Speedways schedule is shaping out very nicely as the opening race is set for Friday Night April 29 with Sprints,Supers,Modifieds,Factories,Bombers and Mini-stocks with race time at 8PM sharp.3 Double point nights are being put into place along with a kids bike race and coin pick-up.July 1st will be a regular racing show along with a fireworks display and tentatively 2 Mini-stock paying shows on the regular Friday Night action are being looked at.
The Enduro races really have became popular here as you can take an older car and have some fun and hope to win some cash back.We will give points to the top 5 finishers in those enduros and crown an overall champion.
The O'Reilly Autoparts MLRA Super LateModels are scheduled to make there first ever appreance to the Midway on Sat June 24th along with 2 support classes.
The Speedway has also scheduled 3 305 Sprint Specials to go along with the Enduro shows on June 10, July 9th,and Sept.10,but will not be running them on those Friday Night shows.Legends cars are currently scheduled to be competing May 14 along with Aug 12 and the SMRS Midgets will be highlighting a full weekend in June as they will go to battle Friday June 10,along with June 11th.
The Season points battles are scheduled at this time to end around Sept.16.
