Lebanon,Mo.-Racers from the Lebanon Midway Speedway will be giving the public an early season glance of there high-powered machines on Sat. March 19th at the Lebanon Wal-Mart SuperCenter in the parking lot.Times will announced in a couple of days.2 other possible car shows are being worked on before the season opener on Friday night April 29th.

In other news the Midway has landed a date with the National Flat Track Motorcycle Racing Association on Sat. Night May 21.

"We want to bring different types of events to our fans and this also allows new people to visit the track and see our facilities." quoted Owner Harold Armstrong.

"They normally have around 80 or more Motorcycles that follow this series and 4-wheelers will also be racing that evening for something different.Action that evening will start at 7:30 PM.

"The work on the track is coming right along and I hope people will be surprised at what we have improved on this season as the new Granstand section will provide excellent viewing from the top rows and we have moved things around abit. Also many of the area drivers have come out and like what they are seeing.The walls are coming along nicely and most all of the dirtwork has been completed on the track.We have a full slate of action for everyone this season.

Regular Friday night action featuring Winged Sprints, Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers and Mini-Stocks and then the Sat Night Specials with 2 O'Reilly AutoParts MLRA Super LateModel events on June 25th and also Aug.20th.150 lap Enduro Events along with special paying events for our Friday Night Classes,The SMRS Midgets in June on both Friday and Sat Night, Legends Cars, Motorcycle Racing, Tractor-Pulls and special events for the kids on some selected Friday Night Shows.This place will be busy this season.

The Speedway,just built last season is located 5 miles East of Lebanon on Highway 32,then on B Highway 1/2 mile.
