Lebanon,Mo-The crew at the Lebanon Midway Speedway have been busy during this off-season with many major improvements and a very aggressive race schedule for the 2005 season.
Improvements include walls being poured around the turns,more banking being added into the track,the expanding of the racing surface,more grandstand seating being put into place,another Ladies Restroom being added along with a couple of new VIP Booths to be added.
The track which opened last July started with 52 cars on opening night and ended-up with over 95 by the end of the season.
This season opening night is scheduled for Friday April 29th and will feature on the weekly show Winged Sprint Cars, Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers and Mini-Stocks along with activities for the kids such as 2 bike races for those 10 and under and a coin scramble.
Special Sat Night events are aloso scheduled with 150 lap enduro Races also feature 2-3 other classes on those nights,the SMRS Midgets the entire weekend in June,2 O'ReillyAutoParts MLRA Super LateModel dates,Legend cars, Tractorpulls,and special paying events for the regular racing classes on certain Sat Events.Racing will run through Sept. and offers family entertainment for all.
