Lebanon,Mo.-The Lebanon Midway Speedway is ready to start its 2005 Racing season this Friday Night as the chase for the first ever track titlest begins with Gates opening at 5,Hotlaps at 7:20 and Racing Action at 8PM.
The Speedway which has underwent many new changes during the off-season will feature Winged Sprint Cars, Modifieds, SuperStocks, FactoryStocks, Bombers and Mini-stocks.
THe following week is schedules as a double points night and then the Speedway will hold its first Special Sat Edition of Racing as a 150 lap Enduro will highlight the racing cars on May 14 along with special paying events for the Modifieds,FactroyStocks and the first time ever visit from the Legends Cars.These 2/3 scale cars feature older bodies such as 34 Ford and Chevy Coupe bodies along with 37 Dodge,Ford, and Chevy coupe bodies. These cars are powered by a 1250 cc Yahama sealed motor producing up to 122 Horsepower and weigh 1300 pounds with driver.
The Sat Special edition will not only pay extra money to the Modifieds and FactoryStocks,but will also pay-out 20 bonus points to be added into the season long point battle.
The Enduro Race will pay in the area of 1500-2000 to win and already has 30 entries pre-registered and can still be accepted on Race day.The way you enter will determine your starting spot for the event and the entry fee is $50.Sat Specials will start at 7:30.
