Lebanon,Mo-With never ending rain,officials have had to postpone the running of the 1st Annual Larry Phillips Shootout Birthday Bash which was to feature a 75 Lap MLRA Sanctioned LateModel feature paying $7500 to the winner and $750 to start the 22 car field.
"I have never seen so much Rain in June as this season has had."quoted owner Harold Armstrong."It started with an inch on Wed Night,then over 2 inches Thursday Night.We got most of our Friday ngiht show in including the Fireworks before more came in.It started here again Sat evening and at 3PM Sunday evening hasn't let-up yet."We should have a make-up date within 24 hours as I've got some calls to make and follow-up with some things,but we are looking at a weeknight date currently."
The same deal is being scheduled with A-Mods running for $1000 to win and $100 to start and our Bombers would also be racing on the make-up date.
