SAFERACER.COM AND zMAX present the 14th Annual Legends Dirt Nationals. The entry list is growing with drivers taking advantage of the great weather this weekend. There will be practice on Thursday evening for any type of cars followed by practice, qualifying and heat races on Friday. Saturday includes the main events and crowning of the 2010 Dirt Nationals Champions. SpringfieldRaceway is noted for three wide Legends racing and should be one of the best Dirt tracks to host the Nationals. 2010 National Dirt Masters Champion Don Reynolds is entered as is Pro Champion Donovin Wiest , and Semi-Pro Champ Robert Schatz. Pro driver Cam Schafer has his sights set on Springfield Missouri along with Master multi winner Eric Barth.Reynolds competed Sat night for his first apperance at SpringfieldRaceway and was coming strong late in the race.Springfield normally averages around 16 or more Legends weekly and this event should draw over 50 Entries or more to the 1/4 oval

Heading up the local talent will be 2009 track champion Jason Rayle of Springfield and 2010 track champion Justin Comer of Joplin,last Sat nights winner Park Jones of Joplin,Billy Cottrill of Joplin,Dave Bauer of Webb City,Rob Watson of Billings,Dave Comer of Joplin,Tyler Horton of Joplin and many other locals.

Drivers from Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ark, Iowa, New Mexico, Wisconsin, New Jersey and other states are expected.This will be the third Dirt Nationals event held in Missouri and should be the most watched as the track nicknamed the Quick-Quarter plays host to 3 wide Legend Racing.Friday Night will find Area FactoryStocks and Midwest Modifieds competing in full shows while Sat Night SportMods and Area PureStocks compete in full shows.

FactoryStocks will battle in their only apperance of 2010 at the Speedway in a $300 to win and $40 to start feature while the Midwest Modifieds battle for $150 to win and $30 to start the feature event.Friday night the pitgates open at 4PM with Legends starting practice around 5:45 along with Factorys and Midwest Modz.Pitpasses will be $30.Friday night grandstands will open at 5:30 with admission only $10 for Adults while Kids 6-12 are $5 and 5 and under Free.Racing will start Friday Night at 7PM with Legend qualifying events and full shows for FactoryStocks and Midwest Modz

Sat action will find the pitgates opening at 1:15 with hotlaps starting around 4PM and Racing at 5PM.Grandstands will open at 3:30 and Grandstand Admission is only $10 for Adults with kids 6-12 only $5 and 5 and under Free.Sat Night SportMods battle it out for $300 to win and $40 to start while the Area PureStocks go to battle for the $125 to win event while recieving $25 to start the feature event.Full shows for Mods and PureStocks while Legends battle in the last chance events and Feature events for the Young Lions,Semi-Pros,Pros and Masters divisions.Pitpasses Sat night will be $30.
