Lincoln IL Race Track

Has anyone heard anything about a track opening at Lincoln Illinois ?
Was wondering what the classes were going to be and the rules
Also wondering what day or night they were planning on running

LATEMODEL, MODIFIES, SPORTWMAN, BOMBER, AND I THINK ONE OTHER CLASS, NOT SURE WHAT IT IS THOUGH. WE MAY RIN THERE ONCE OR TWICE THIS YEAR.

last i heard they were supposed to run sprints!!!

i heard sprint cars and 600 micro's from a reliable source. and a class of sportsman,i think also.

from what i have been told the promoter would like to run sprints but he doubts it because of insurance costs this year but maybe next year

I am glad this subject is getting some attention. I was beginning to wonder. The only thing I heard was at the beginning (when the story broke) they were supposed to run L.M.-Mod.- Sprints-and some kind of street class. Of course that was prob.setting the bar kind of high for a first year track.I don't know. Anyway.I am glad to see people interested.
