Looks Like Benton, Mo. Will Be Running This Year!?

I just saw on Hoseheads.com the '05 Schedule and it shows the All Star Sprint cars running there on a Friday night, the night before they run at Farmington.


Is this right? Who's the promoter? Are they doing special shows only or will they be running Friday nights this year?
 
George Eagan Passes Away

:( Don't know if you all remember "Geoge Eagan" had KWICK-WAY,had machine shop and done alot of motors for alot of you. Ran the "Champ Cars" and done alot with the "Midgets".He passed away Friday night. My prayers go out to his friends and family. Just thought you should know. Spent alot of time at Tri-City. Thanks just wanted you all to know of his death.:(
 
Right now there are no plans on Auto Tire & Parts Racepark in Benton opening for 2005. I've been talking to the owners about some specifics in recent days and as of right now there is nothing.. In fact, that date the All-Stars listed is questionable.
 
Jacksonville Raceway would be a good place to have the All Stars on 7/22, the night before Farmington's show, but i doubt that will ever happen.
It is a shame that the only track in Illinois that runs 410 sprints regularly, won't have any major sanctioned sprint shows anymore.
 
I'm hearing its Guy Webb himself from the All-Stars who is leasing the track for that one race in July
