(Lebanon) Race fans might have felt deja vu Saturday night at the
Lebanon I-44 Speedway, as four drivers captured back-to-back victories, and Kris Jackson claimed his third consecutive victory in his latest Factory Stock win streak. But while familiar faces were back in Victory Lane, it was a hard fight for these repeat winners to get back there.

Fifteen Late Models started the 25-lap feature. Dustin Mooneyham lead early, but defending track champion Brad Looney shot past Mooneyham out of Turn 4 to capture the lead for good.

"It took a lot of concentration," Looney said about the winning pass.
"The car felt real good, and everything went real well, so I'm pleased."

Dustin Mooneyham held on for a second place finish, just ahead of Leroy Johnson. Steve Grotz placed fourth, and Darrell Mooneyham rounded out the top 5. Lebanon driver Brandon McCormick broke a drive shaft early in the race, and finished last.

The Modifieds flew around the high banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway.
Terry Beckham Jr. raced the high line around turns three and four side-by-side with Justin Neuman, and shot past the #14 car on the front stretch. Beckham held the lead for the rest of the feature.

Beckham's favorite dirt track in Oklahoma closed years ago, but he said that the Lebanon I-44 Speedway reminds him of that old track.

"I like it here," said the Modified feature winner from Victory Lane.
"I think this will be my new favorite race track."

Neuman wound up finishing 3rd, behind Bobby Williams. Brian Brown and Jimmy Willis rounded out the Top 5. Points leader David Hendrix had mechanical problems early in the race and finished in tenth place.

Kris Jackson continued his dominance of the Factory Stock class at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway Saturday night. Jackson's victory came right after his son won the 4-and-under kids bike race held during intermission.

"We'll have to give this one to him," Kris Jackson said in Victory Lane, handing his trophy to his son. The young child completed an entire victory lap following his win.

Both Jackson and Eric Todd started in the back of the pack, and finished first and second in a talented field of Factory Stocks.

"I like to [move to the front] on the first lap," Jackson said about his fast push to the front.

Devin Wolansky, Lonnie Henderson, and Justin Grindsta rounded out the Top 5. Kris Jackson has won 3 Factory Stock features in a row at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, and 7 out of the last 8 features. Lonnie Henderson was the only other winner during this stretch.

In other racing action Saturday night, Josh Woody led every lap in the 15-lap B-Modified feature, but had to contend with hard charges by both Matt Brookshire and last week's winner Jim Hayes to secure his victory.

"I just raced the race track," Woody said, choosing to ignore the competition as best as he could.

The points leader gave credit to his competitors in the B-Mod class, many of whom remain within striking distance in the points standing.

"Any of the top four or five guys can win this race anytime," said Woody.

Hayes finished second, ahead of Shawn Nations, Wayne Tindle and Jason Otto.

Meanwhile, Dean Hensler got by Terry Metcalf early in the 12-lap Bomber feature, and held on to the lead for the rest of the race.

"You can't beat this Ruble power coming off turn 2 on the back stretch," Hensler said from Victory Lane. "I got by the #75 [Metcalf] early, and that was key. He's kinda got me the last couple of races."

Hensler thanked his wife for putting up with his "racing habit".
Points leader Landin Johnson finished 3rd, ahead of JC Morton and Joe Francis.

Also, Josh Lewis took the checkered flag in the Rookie feature, ahead of Jeff Brown. Lewis and Brown had tangled earlier in the feature on the track's front stretch. Lewis, who was inside of Brown, squeezed the #17 car, forcing Brown into the outside retaining wall. Brown finished second, ahead of Nick Arthor and Austin Treadway.

The Lebanon I-44 Speedway holds its regular weekly show this coming Saturday. Gates open at 5PM, and races start at 7:30PM. Regular admission for adults and juniors; kids 12 and under are always free.
The fastest Modifieds in the country will be in Lebanon on Saturday, August 11, as the USMTS returns to the high banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, and the Winged Outlaw Warrior Sprint Car Series return to Lebanon's fastest speedway on Saturday, August 18th.
