Lucas Oil ASCS on VERSUS – Revised Broadcast Schedule

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (May 6, 2009) – So you missed the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters debut on the VERSUS Network's Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour this past Saturday afternoon?

No need to fret, just be sure to set the DVR, VCR or whatever your recording device of choice may be or just call in sick for the Thursday, May 7, re-air at 5:00 p.m. EDT as Ken Stout, Rob Klepper and Crash Gladys call all the action from the Lucas Oil ASCS March 20 season opening event at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX.

It's just the first of ten one-hour presentations of Lucas Oil ASCS competition slated for the VERSUS airwaves in 2009, with the March 21 Devil's Bowl Spring Nationals finale reset for Saturday, May 23, with a re-air date of May 27.

The revised schedule of Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters events to be aired on VERSUS is as follows:

The Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters is currently slated for approximately 33 nights of racing action at 16 different tracks throughout the nation, with the country's top Sprint Car drivers set to battle it out for their share of the $250,000 points fund.

The American Sprint Car Series, in its 18th year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing events, brings the best of Sprint Car racing to nearly 100 different tracks throughout 25 states and Canada in 2009. Anchored by the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters, ASCS also consists of a dozen different Regions throughout the nation.
