BDS Racing Promotions are bringing the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, WV for a special weekend of racing on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25. The First Annual "West Virginia Motorsports Fall Classic Weekend" will showcase what has become one of the nation's premier dirt late model racing organizations, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will run two complete race programs at one of the country's premier dirt tracks. Both days will feature Oval Craft Racing Aluminum Designs Time Trials, VP Fuels Makin' Power Heat Races, Mason Racin' Rebel Shock Dyno and PPM Racing Products B-Mains with Saturday's inaugural "Tribute" main event paying $7,000 to win with the 1st Annual "Legends of the Fall 50" main paying $10,000 to win on Sunday. This is all part of a weekend where the Mountain State's racing history is celebrated.
Activities at the 5/8 mile semi-banked facility will see the pit gates opening at 9 am on Saturday, September 24 with general admission gates opening at 12 noon, with hot laps beginning at 3 pm, time trials at 4:30 pm and racing action beginning at 7 pm. On Sunday, September 24, pit gates open at 9 am, with general admission gates at 11 am, hot laps begin at 2:30 pm with time trials at 3:30 pm and racing at 4:30 pm. You can order advance general admission tickets for $40.00 with advance pit passed priced at $60.00. Children ages 6-11 are $10.00 in advance and 5 and under are admitted for free.
