Batesville, AR (4/6/07) - Official with Monett Speedway and the Mid America Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) have made the decision to postpone the M.A.R.S. event scheduled for this Sunday, April 7th. An extremely cold weather forecast led to the postponement. The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 6th and will be part of a triple header with Bolivar Speedway USA and I-44 Speedway.
The M.A.R.S. competitors will now turn their attention to next Friday, April 13th when they head to Tri City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Illinois for the 2007 season opener. The next night on Saturday, April 14th the M.A.R.S. tour will make their first ever appearance at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for Midwest Madness featuring a challenge event against the MLRA Super Late Models.
