Macon, Jacksonville, and Shepps Speedway’s Team Up for Local Drivers

Macon, IL – Macon, Jacksonville, and Shepps Speedway’s are pleased to announce they have teamed up to host a Big Ten Series for Late Models. The Big Ten Late Model Series events at Macon Speedway will be $1200 to Win.

The Big Ten Late Model Series is 10 races split between Macon, Jacksonville, and Shepps Speedway’s and offering the local Late Model drivers a $10K point fund for the 10 races. The Big Ten Late Models race on May 8th, May 22nd, June 12th, July 17th, August 28th at Macon, May 9th, June 13th, July 18th, Aug 1st at Shepps, and August 6th at Jacksonville.

Last years Big Ten Late Model Series saw the following drivers Steve Sheppard Jr., Brandon Sheppard, Kyle Logue, Chris Dick, Brian Dively, Dick Taylor, Roger Brickler, Mike Hammerle, John Beck, and Dennis Vandermeersch battle it out to end up the Top 10 in points.

Come watch the following drivers Richie Hedrick, Jim Moon, Jeremy Nichols, Mike Hammerle, Brian Dively, Kerby Damey, Chris Dick, Kyle Logue, Adam Mefford, Shane Tomlin, Rodney Standerfer, and many more battle it out for $1,200 to Win and the $10K point fund.

Macon Speedway offers fun family entertainment every Saturday night from April to September. With many fan favorite events on schedule, including three “Night of NASCAR Stars” nights planned and the famous Herald and Review 100, UMP’s premier Summer National event, 2010 is stacking up to be a memorable year. Be sure to come join Macon Speedway for an action packed summer.

Macon Speedway where racing happens every Saturday night gates open at 5pm and racing at 7pm. Grandstands are $15 for Adults and Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
