(Macon, IL) Macon Speedway welcomes the 95Q team Saturday, July 25, as part of an action-packed night of racing for all of our 6 regular weekly UMP divisions with a special focus on the UMP Late Models and UMP Modifieds in the Firecracker 40’s. 40-lap features for both the Late Models & Modified divisions will highlight the evening, and if two huge features were not enough, fans at Macon Speedway will be wowed with an extra huge fireworks display.

The UMP Late Models will be racing for $1,500 to win plus the top finishing Crate Late Model will receive a $100 bonus plus have the chance to bring home an extra $250 bonus courtesy of Decatur Used Cars if they take the checkered flag. New starting Saturday night, the UMP Crate Late Models will earn UMP National Points each and every Saturday night for the rest of the 2009 racing season. The UMP Modified division will be racing for $600 to win. The Modified winner from Wednesday night’s Night of Nascar Stars featuring Kasey Kahne and Kenny Wallace saw Tim Hancock win his second race at Macon Speedway. Also, the UMP Hornet divisions will be racing in the UMP Hornet Midseason Special which will reward the winners a spectacular trophy.

Weekly racing at Macon Speedway features six UMP sanctioned divisions: Late Model, Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock, and both Pro and Amateur Hornet.

Macon Speedway races every Saturday night from April through September. Macon Speedway is located 9 miles south of Decatur, IL on US 51 then .6 miles west on Andrews Street, then south on Wiles.
