Macon Speedway Announces 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Annual Midwest UMP ChampionsShowdown Saturday April 6[SUP]th[/SUP]​

Macon Speedway has announced the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] AnnualMidwest UMP Champions Showdown on Saturday April 6, 2013. With all the UMP racetracks and race drivers that the Midwest has to offer, why not put them alltogether for one huge champions showdown! Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornetswill compete to determine the best of the best!
Champions Night at the famed 1/5 mile high banks will offer aFree Pit Pass for any 2012 Track Champion from a UMP track in the Midwest totake part in the Showdown. There will bea 15 lap Modified Shootout, an 10 lap street stock shootout and a 8 lap Hornetshootout for those champions in each division. Macon Speedway division techrules will apply.
Promoters for the participating tracks will be given a FreePit Pass, full access to the Turn 4 lounge for the night as well as trackpre-race introductions with their corresponding drivers. Promoters areencouraged to involve their 2012 Track Champions as the winning champion’spromoter in each division will be given a Showdown Trophy!
Saturday April 6[SUP]th[/SUP] is Opening Night at MaconSpeedway, as well as the 6[SUP]th[/SUP] Annual Spring Fling featuring the UMPModifieds, UMP Sportsman, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornetsand the 600cc Mini Sprints. All driverswho are eligible for the Champions Showdown will also be able to participate inthe regular night’s events, heats and features.
Not only are their UMP Points, Macon Speedway Track Points, Trophiesand Cash on the line… You will have the bragging rights of being crowned the 1[SUP]st[/SUP]Annual Midwest UMP Champions Showdown Winner!
