The Lincoln Speedway, Abbottstown, PA show was already sanctioned by WoO and was rained out August 14th. The rescheduled event will now include the MACS Series. The program will be 50-laps, $10,000 to-win with $700 going to start. The race procedures and format at Lincoln will run under the “Outlaw” rules and procedures.

Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway also announced that MACS and WoO will co-sanction the 35th Annual Fall Classic to be held September 18, 2004. The date will also be Round 4 of the BB&T Super Late Model Dirt Challenge that will pay $10,000 of the almost $45,000 purse to the winner. Jeremy Miller, Steve Lucas and Davey Johnson all have a shot at an additional $10,000 bonus should one of them pull off the victory.

“We really need to thank both organizations for working together to provide our fans with what could be the best race ever staged here at our Speedway,” commented Track General Manager Clarke Sawyer. “We could not pass up the opportunity to have the best of the MACS series and the best that the Mid-Atlantic Region has to offer competing along with the Dirty Dozen, this will be a must see event,” added Sawyer.

The very successful BB&T Super Late Model Dirt Challenge was already MACS sanctioned yet the Geesey brothers are looking forward to the possibilities that lie ahead for fans and competitors alike with the addition of the WOO co-sanction to Round 4 of the Challenge Series. “The series is very excited about this new venture that we are going to have at one of the best race tracks in the country, and that’s Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway, and to be affiliated with the speedway in such a way that the Outlaws are going to be a part of the program I think it’s a win-win for the fans and the drivers and I really think this will be an outstanding show for the conclusion of the fourth and final round of the BB&T Challenge Series,” commented Jeff Geesey, Public Relations and Race Director of the MACS Series.

In a cooperative effort to take dirt late model racing to the next level the nation’s premier dirt late model tour and the region’s premier regional tour are working together on a weekend of co-sanctioned events. The weekend will start Friday September 17th with the World of Outlaws and MACS competitors in a co-sanctioned $10,000 to win event at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA. Both series will then head south to Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway in Saluda, VA for Saturday’s $10,000 to win BB&T Super Late Model event.

“This event is a great illustration of what the spirit of the Outlaws tradition is all about,” said Craig Cormack, VP Racing Operations for Boundless Motorsports Racing, Inc., (OTCBB: BMSR) the publicly traded parent company of the World of Outlaws. “The challenge and thrill of competition is what drives the Dirty Dozen to perform at their best. I think the fans and drivers alike are in for a very exciting weekend of racing.”

Friday’ night’s race at Lincoln Speedway will run under the World of Outlaws rules and format while Saturday’s event at VMS will be run under MACS rules and format.
