Larry Hull won an ugly but exciting Modified feature. Only 8 of the original 18 starters finished the race, including a pair black-flagged for rough driving. Mike Francis opened the race in the lead and threatened to run away, but the 5 caution flags kept the field close. Hull waited patiently for his chance to make a move and raced side-by-side three wide with Francis and Jeremy Russell on lap 15. Two laps later Hull took the lead, diving low out of turn four and out running Francis down the front straight. Francis made one last challenge on the white flag lap, but Hull held him off for the win. Todd Hall won a late duel with Russell for third.
John Barnett was fifth. Heat winners were Hull, Francis, and Chris Moore.
