MARS Series Rolls into Ozarks

The O'ReillyAutoParts MARS Super LateModels Series rolls into the Ozarks for there first of three visits this season.

The popular MidWest Series features a fan friendly format in which action is from the very beginning from the heats all the way to the feature.

So far this season,no-one has repeated in MARS events,as defending and 3 time series champion Bill Frye,Jeff Taylor of Arkansas, Wendell Wallace Batesville, Arkansas, and Springfield's Terry Phillips have found the winners circle already this season.Other drivers expected to be on hand include point contender Jeff Floyd of Walnut Ridge,Arkansas,Bolivar and Lebanon I-44 LateModel Champion Brad Looney of Republic, Leslie Essary,Brandon McCormick,current Bolivar and I-44 point leader Jason Bodenhamer of Centerview,and many others as interest is very high for this weekend's events.

The action will start at the action track of the Ozarks at Bolivar Speedway on Friday Night with the first race to start at 7:30 Sharp as hotlaps will begin around 6:45.Racing will also feature extra money in the Modifieds, FactoryStocks, and Bombers.

Then the Cars-n-Stars of Mars will travel to the high-banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway for another 7:30 starting time on Sat Night as the SuperStocks will join the Racing card along with the Modifieds,FactoryStocks,and Bombers.

Each LateModel feature will pay 3,000 to the winner of the 40 lap events as drivers from approx 5 states or more will be on hand.

Gates will open around 5PM both nights as the first big special of the season hits the Ozarks.
