MARS Series visits Lebanon I-44 Speedway this Saturday!

LEBANON - Lebanon I-44 Speedway will host the exciting Mid America Racing Series (MARS) this Saturday night.

"We're paying big money and we're expecting 30-35 Late Models," said track promoter Randy Mooneyham. "It is our biggest race to date."

MARS Super Late Models will be the highlight feature, paying $3000 to win. Other feature races will also see added purse amounts. Factory Stocks and Super Stocks will both increase to $400 and Bombers will increase to $200. Modifieds will continue the $600 payout.

Mooneyham said the total payout for the event will total about $28,000.

Mooneyham also said he expected some big names in racing to participate in Saturday's race. Terry Phillips, Bill Frye, Wendell Wallace, Brad Looney, Justin Wells, Kyle Berk and Ken Essary will be racing for the top prize.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand adult admission will be $15 and Wild Side parking will be $20 for adults. All juniors ages 13-15 will be $5 and all children 12 and under are free.
