Pontoon Beach, IL (August 12, 2007) The Mid America Racing Series (MARS DIRTcar Series) goes head-to-head with the United Midwest Promoters (UMP DIRTcar Series) on Wednesday, August 22nd on the 3/8 mile oval at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL. With $5,000 on the line for the winner and $500 just to start the main event, many of the Midwest's top dirt late model drivers will be on hand for this event.
The UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will also be competing with a top prize of $2,000 going to the winner! The Street Stock division will also be racing for $300 to win.
Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:00 p.m. General Admission Adults: $18 with Children under 12 are FREE!
