MB Motorsports to run Gateway with Ben Stancill and Jack Smith

Wright City, MO (September 10th, 2009)- MB Motorsports will field two trucks in the “Copart 200” NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Saturday, September 12th at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Ayden, North Carolina’s Ben Stancill will wheel the familiar #63 for Owner Mike Mittler, while Medina, Ohio veteran Jack Smith will steer the #36 NCWTS entry.

“Gateway is our home track” said Team Owner Mike Mittler “and we always love racing there. It gives us a great chance to perform for many home town friends and fans. Ben has done really well for us this year and we are hoping for great results again this weekend. We also have Jack running for us again this weekend and we have had some excellent runs with him as well over the past 2 years.”

“Mike Mittler and the MB Motorsports team have given me the opportunity of a lifetime this year,” commented Ben Stancill. “I’m excited about racing at the team’s home track, Gateway Raceway. We’ve had good trucks this year, but little things have short changed 2 of our 4 races together. We are looking forward to a good race Saturday in front of all the MB Motorsports fans.”

Jack Smith has driven for MB Motorsports in 9 races over the past 2-1/2 years. “It is always a pleasure to drive one of the MB Motorsports truck,” stated Jack Smith. “These guys are great to work with and give me a competitive truck to race every time.”

MB Motorsports, based in Foristell, Missouri, 45 miles west of St. Louis, has fielded a truck in NASCAR competition since the inaugural 1995 Truck Series season. Ben Stancill and Jack Smith are part of an elite group of drivers that have driven MB Motorsports Trucks, Including: Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, Brad Keselowski, Regan Smith, Justin Allgaier, the late Kenny Irwin Jr. and the late Tony Roper.
