Hey all....wanted to say thanks first off to all the drivers....
we had a full night with Fan Appreciation Night...
and the drivers made it that way...
normally i have to run around and ask for shirts hats and so forth
to throw out ( which i ONLY do on special occasions ) however....
not only when i pulled into the track did i see drivers and their cars and crews scattered everywhere OUT FRONT...but the fans were thick as
yesterdays nachos.......what a great turn out....what great drivers....
WHAT GREAT FANS.....and while were on the subject of the great things at MCS....( LOL ) did anyone get the chance to hear Danny Johnson announcing with me.....? I thought he did a excelent job and have been trying to get him in the booth now for some time....the guy knows alot about racing....and has a great sense of humor....a born natural announcer....almost made him sit down out of fear of "job security" ....that is i thought that they might give him my job and make me do security.....Great having you there Danny....
not many are willing....not many are able....but Danny worked for free soda
and a thank you....is there any input on any of this....please help me.....
i want this guy to be on the payroll....

Thanks agian Danny.....it takes alot of strength and testicular fortitude to come up in the booth for the first time....DONT MAKE IT YOUR LAST :)
 
Great Job Danny you were a thrill to listen to. You and John were great togther. Please announce again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Gotta give you kudos for letting that girl take a kick at you. It was entertaining to watch, But I couldn't help but think you would be in serious trouble if she missed by a couple of inches. :eek: ;)

Yeah that was kind of wild....
for those who dont know...
there was a young lady ( regular ) who had just turned into a
second degree black belt....
on impulse ( without thinking ) i asked her to kick my hand in the air....
kind of some blind faith but i figured she was "licensed" to kick
the funny part is i didnt realize i had a cigy in my hand
( bad choice on my part - back to the not thinking and polish )
at which point she landed a square kick to my palm
the cigy went flyin
no one was hurt....and i can still write

she made it look so easy....to kick the habit...LOL
others say she kicked my butt....LMAO

This is Danny Johnson and really did enjoy the oppurtunity to call the races with loudmouth last Saturday and hope to do it again soon. Thanks loudmouth and all the gang at MCS and thanks to the fans for giving me the courage to do so.

This Saturday night there is once again a $100 bounty on Rusty Griffaw and James Brock. Rusty has won 2 weeks in a row and James Brock has won like a zillion or so weeks in a row, I lost track.
