Batesville, Arkansas (July 26th, 2006) – The Mid America Racing Series event scheduled for this Sunday, July 30th at Tri City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Illinois has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 13th. The event will be part of a triple header weekend for the M.A.R.S. tour with events at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky on Friday, August 11th and at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday, August 12th.
Officials with the facility notified M.A.R.S. officials late Sunday night that the event would need to be rescheduled race due to the rescheduling of another event at the facility that was postponed last Sunday night as a result of storm damage.
The next event for the stars and cars of the M.A.R.S. tour will be August 5th at Lake Ozark Speedway in Lake Ozark, Missouri. The event will be a UMP Challenge event and will pay $5,000 to win.
