Late Model - The pace was set early in the night as long time winner Tony Albright (1) made a remark with fastest time set at 12.991. The track was totally hooked up tonight! Heat #1 ran smoothly as Gary Johnson (20) leading every lap with no cautions, left them smoking in his dust. Heat #2 was led by Darren Baxter (11B) taking the win with only one caution.The Dash leader was Tony Albright. During lap 4 Bronson Berry (00) collides with Bengi Putty (21) as he hits the wall. Albright wins! The Late Model feature was a no challenge race as Albright leads every lap. The only caution was during lap 17 when Bronson Berry again hits the wall in turn four. Again, Albright takes the checkered flag.
Open Wheel – Fastest time was set by Brian Shaw (1) at 13.931. During Heat #1 Mike Sweeney (25S) led every lap. The only caution was on lap 4 when Jamie Mann (88M)
And Gil Smith (7X) spins out. On the restart Smith spins out again and leaves the track.
The Dash also belonged to Brian Shaw all the way to the last lap! The feature race was filled with several drivers swapping out for first place. Shaw started out leading the first 2 laps then Clayton Miller (X15) takes away the lead. Lap 4 Lucus Lee (12) and Charles Zimmerman (93) get together and spin out. Lees goes to the back of the pack. Lap 8 Clayton Miller and Michael Lee get together in turn two. Miller goes to the back. On the restart Gil Smith leads lap 10 then Lee reclaims his lead. Lap 11 Shaw hits the wall on the backstretch causing a caution and leaves the track. Michael Lee wins the race.
