Midwest All Stars Head to Pevely to Kick-Off Missouri-Illinois

The O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series brings its high-voltage, top-of-the-line, thrill-a-second brand of winged sprint car racing excitement to the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO. Wednesday night, June 13th .

Led by Spoon River feature winner Jerrod Hull of Sikeston, MO and top challenger Tim Montgomery, the “Show Me State” will be well-represented in the opening event of the Missouri-Illinois Speedweek. Illinois favorites Robbie and Jeremy Standridge, along with the Moughans…Jim Jr. and Joey…will make sure both sides of the Big Muddy will be well represented in the $2,000-to-win event.

A season-high twenty-nine teams participated in last weekend’s Spoon River Speedway event, a testament to the quality of racing and the “buzz” created by the series, as big-time winged sprint car racing “All Star Style” grabs the attention of racers and fans, alike, throughout the Midwest. With a World of Outlaws event scheduled Thursday at Tri City Speedway and a high-paying two day event Friday and Saturday at Farmington, race teams from all around the Midwest have shown interest in racing at Pevely’s super-fast 1/3rd mile high-banked speed plant for the MASS-sanctioned event.

The O’Reilly Midwest All Stars will showcase their talents during I-55 Raceway’s special “NASCAR Night”, featuring appearances by Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace. In addition to the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series, midgets and late models will be in action.
