Pevely, MO (April 1, 2006) Mike Harrison continued his great start to the 2006 racing season as he topped the field of forty-two UMP Modifieds and claimed the $1,000 top prize at I-55 Raceway. Harrison worked his way past early leader Bobby Bittle on lap eleven of the twenty-lap main event and held off Bittle's challenge for the remaining nine laps of the event. Bittle led the first eleven laps as he jumped into the lead at the drop of the green flag from the outside of the front row. Eric Mabery worked his way through traffic to claim the third position with Brian Worley and Ray Wagner rounding out the top five. Harrison, Bittle, Brad Crosby, Scott Bull and Brian Worley won the qualifying heats and Bull also won the dash.
