For immediate release; Missouri State Fair Speedway is revising its remaining 2010 schedule effective immediately. A revised schedule will hit the streets the week of June 12th once final adjustments have been made by promoters Reid Millard and Jason Bodenhamer, who have “decided to concentrate efforts on special events racing for the remainder of the season.” Beginning this Friday, June 11th there will be no more “weekly” racing at the speedway. The season up to this point has suffered numerous weather cancellations and less than desirable car counts, leading to several challenges in trying to offer the best race program for drivers, fans, and all interested parties. Special events races are more beneficial to the drivers, fans, and the speedway at this time. Additional information regarding special-events racing will be released with the schedule revision.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car race for Wednesday night June 16 will go on as planned. The countdown is on for “Kasey’s King of Sedalia” presented by Budweiser World of Outlaws Sprint Car event on Wednesday, June 16 and tickets are on sale now for the third round of the Showdown for the Bud Crown. Star NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne, who is co-promoting the event in association with the World Racing Group, will also compete. Advanced reserved seats are $29 for adults and $9 for children twelve years and under. Children under six are admitted free in General Admission seating. Adult seats increase to $35 day of show – regardless of section. To purchase tickets visit www.worldofoutlaws.com/tickets or call (704) 795-7223. Same-day tickets are available at the Missouri State Fair Speedway ticket office.

The race action scheduled for the Missouri State Fair will go on as planned with two separate nights of competition on Tuesday night August 17th with the Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits, Modifieds, and ULMA Late Models and again on Sunday night, August 22nd with the MLRA and NCRA Late Models and WoW 360 Sprint Cars. Look for the revised Missouri State Fair Speedway schedule to be released next week. The planned “Battle of the Badges” race will also still take place; stay tuned for future announcements regarding this special night for law enforcement and emergency badge-wearing professionals as they challenge each other in specially prepared Crown Vics. All listed events herein are subject to change.
