What's everyone's thoughts on car count this year? I always say car counts will be down from the year before just because of economy and the cost of racing..

I think they will be up in both classes. There are some other mod specials on Saturday though, that may hurt. I believ its spoon river has a $2,000 to win and Montpelier, IN has a $3,000 to win.

What a great weekend to be in the STL area for racing!! You have Mod Mania at Tri-City, the NHRA at Gateway, and if you want to do a little road trip, you have the Jackson 100, just a 5 hour drive away.

Car counts have definitely been up from last year.. We are so very lucky to have this event... So thankful the racers continue coming year in and year out.
