YEP! USMTS Featherlite Fall Jamboree! Say you just can't make it to southeast Minnesota this Thursday but probably can THIS FRIDAY? What does that leave for you to race for?

Well, do the math on the combined purses.... How many times are you ever going to get to race an Open Wheel Modified for just two days and go for $15,000 to win and $1450 just to start a 30-car A-main? This year, there was only ONE opportunity to do it and that's next weekend at this show! That's 2 shots at 30-car A-mains of course. One paying $5000 to win/$550 to start and the other paying $10,000 to win/$900 to start.

"The Champ" Rodney Sanders put an exclamation point on his 2014 USMTS National Championship by winning the final points race of the year from the third row.

Louisiana's Cade Dillard led the early laps until Terry Phillips passed him for the lead. Amazingly, Phillips spun out on his own for the race's first caution on lap 10 and had to restart 29th. VanderBeek passed Dillard a lap or two following the restart and then Sanders passed Zach for the lead and kept it. VanderBeek kept it reasonably close at the end though.

Jason Krohn in an identical car to Sanders started 16th and finished 3rd and actually made it a 3-car battle for the lead for a while before the top 2 pulled away. There were two other cautions for nothing major. Slight contact sent Jesse Glenz (new name to me) around for one of them. He was running 4th at the time.

Local racer Nate Wasmund started 23rd and finished 4th. Jeremy Payne 11th to 5th tonight. Stormy Scott 20th to 6th. Phillips rebounded for 7th. Tommy Myer, Dillard and 28th to 10th for Brandon Davis.

Texan Tyler Townsend made the top 8 redraw and drew the pole. John Allen missed the race by 2 or 3 spots but did a great job in the booth with the RacinDirt crew. 92 USMTS Mods and 60 B-Mods!

Doing another $5000 tomorrow night at 6:30! Coming? You know you want to!!!

In addition to the 92 USMTS entries, there were 60 B-Mods. Started at 6:30 and finished before 10:30pm. 3-wide race track!

Doesn't do a lot of good to tell you now but for the record, sponsors have added $2500 to the win tonight and a $500 hard charger award to the feature.

$7500 to win tonight now!

61 B-Mods and they have run all 6 heats of those. And they are currently on the 6th of 7 heats for the 92 USMTS Mods.
