Montgomery b-mod rules

Guys ,

First off I appreciate all the concerns for this class .
But I am sorry that we will not be able to allow everyone with a B-Mod to race or travel to our track because they fit a few of our rules.
We will start with our basic set of rules that are in place and groom the class from there if we see certain cars have a big advantage over another type of car we may adjust from there as of now we feel that we have a very competitive set of rules .
These are the same rules that TRI CITY SPEEDWAY runs for their B-Mod Specials and they seem to work very well .
I apoligise if this eliminates any one from supporting our class but we can not just open the flood gates and allow what ever they bring to the track I am sure some guys will have to change some things to fit the rules and some guys will have to upgrade for the competition but both should be a small amount to race for a good purse weekly .

Hope all involved understand .

Thanks
Casey Pearson

Casey as the old saying goes......you cannot please everyone every time. You got to start somewhere and i think your rules are a great place to go. Also.....tri city(as you stated) ran these same rules and guess what? They had an awesome b mod show. Great replies as well. Thank you for that as we racers and fans love interaction with owners and rule makers.

alot of farmington cars there and they had schrader valve shocks i guess nobody noticed but rules are rules!

pretty much only thing I see different from MCS rules, is transmission, which
I think is a good change. Good starting point rules Casey. should draw cars from
where it counts.

Casey the rules look great. They appear to be exactly the same as the old rules with the exception of the trans change and that isn't a big deal. A saginaw car can beat cars with berts. Its been done before. All of Randy and your hard work is greatly appreciated.

After see n the b mods at highland saturday night they gotta be better then the jacked up rules they have going.

going to be hard to get a crate motor modified down to 2300 lbs.
Should add weight to the bigger motors instead of trying to take weight off a crate mod.
I dont think i have ever had a modified that was that light or could even get that light.

Its easier to add weight than to try and cut a car up to take weight off.
