That Timmy Montgomery is something else.
He has always been a catfish feeding on the bottom.
The bottom of the outside wall that is.
Now he has also become a sandbagger.
When I was there on 5/29 he failed to come back after a yellow from a flat tire so he could come through the B to make a run from the back in the feature - 18th to 7th.
I do not know what he pulled this past Saturday, but he somehow found himself in he B again so he could run to second in the A from 17th.

Just think what some of those All-Star drivers must be thinking when they read these reports and remember what he did in the race last year.

See you all Saturday

Top 4 in modifieds

Just a slight change in what Millsey has reported. Kenny Kennedy is the points leader, but he actually has 260 points, not 258.
The top 4 in points look like this:
1. Kenny Kennedy 260
2. Billy Smith 254
3. Timmy Hill 210
4. Mike Crader 202

Not that it's a big deal, but let's keep it straight from the beginning so there's no confusion further down the line (I think that happened last year between Kenny and Billy). Kenny had 204 points going into the night and finished 1st in his heat (8 pts) and 2nd in the feature (48 pts) giving him 260 points.

Also, every class except the sprint cars has done away with the trophy dash. Therefore, the modifieds, sportsman, and multis only get points for their heat (8, 6, 4, 2) and the feature (50, 48, 46, 44, ... down by 2 pts for each position to 12 pts for 20th). Hope this helps you out some.

Sorry, but right now what I reported was official. IF there is a change to be made it has to come from track management.

Timmy

Timmy did run the B on the 29th after have a flat in his heat. At SFCR you CAN NOT change a flat tire in the heat races only on the first lap of the main.
This past Saturday he started 7th (I believe) in his heat and ran fifth with last weeks feature(#35) winner sixth. The track was real wet for the heats which makes it hard to pass on. I'm sure Timmy doesn't enjoy running those B mains BUT I did enjoy seeing move in and out of traffic.

Modified points

If an official from the track gets on this site, can you please look into the points for Kenny Kennedy? I am sure he has 260 points. 2 points may not seem like a lot now, but it can matter at the end of the year (IF he is running for points). If not, I'll call Cory and see who I need to talk to about the points (may need to know who handles the points at a later date anyway). Millsey, I wasn't bashing you, it's just that I keep stats and points each week and I think Kenny should have more. I realize this isn't your fault, you only report what you are told. But, if you talk to whoever you get your points from, maybe you can bring this up to them. Thanks!!

Thanks For The Info

PICTURE TAKER:

Thanks for the rule clarification. I think that is a good rule. The outlaws waste a lot of time and fuel when a driver pulls to the work area for a flat tire. I also appreciate when reds remain closed unless there is a good reason to make it open because of time or fuel.

I also was interested to here how Tim got into the B last week.

I like to pick on the Catfish.

I realize you weren't bashing me, all I was saying was that those are the "official" standings, that's another reason why it's important to show them each week.. Remember the days of when you couldn't hardly ever get the points.... LOL.. I sure do, it was LAST YEAR.... LOL...
