We had a low car count because of the holiday weekend, but still had some very exciting 2 and 3 wide racing all night long. Joe Hauck got the first win with the Willys Coupe. He had a large crowd of people around the car after the races. A lot of Ray Eby fans still out there. The feature race came down to Mike Null Sr and Dave White Sr doing battle in the Chevelles. They ran side by side for 4 or 5 laps swapping the lead. Dave Sr finally got him on the bottom on the last lap. Very clean, hard racing by both! After the races, you would have thought these two guys were still in their 20's by the smiles on their faces. That's what vintage racing is all about! Congratulations to #72 Dave Whte Sr!
