Owner's Points Championship Up For Grabs

Center Line, Mich. - NASCAR driver Tracy Hines will return to the seat of the No. 11 Wilke-PAK Motorsports entry for the 64th Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix on November 25. Hines has won many high-profile USAC Midget Car Series events in his decorated career, but he will seek his first Turkey Night Grand Prix victory next week at Irwindale Speedway, in Irwindale, Calif.

Hines is looking forward to returning to the seat of his Mopar-powered No. 11.

"It would mean a lot to be able to win that event," Hines said. "It would put a closure on my open-wheel career. There are going to be several guys who are capable of winning, including Dave Steele and Josh Wise, but I think we'll be in contention in the end."

Hines, who also competed in the Busch Grand National Series this season, is looking to wrap up the USAC National Midget Series Owner's point championship for Wilke-PAK Motorsports in California. The No. 11 team trails owner's points leader Lewis Racing by only 21 points as the series heads to the west.

"While it's nice to come back and race in the open-wheel cars again, I really would like to help Wilke-PAK Motorsports win the owner's championship," Hines said. "That championship is a big part of why I decided to compete in the midget car series again this year. I really wanted to help win the title for Wilke-PAK and Mopar. To win would be a great way to finish up the year."

Hines is scheduled to compete in the Old Pueblo Classic at Tucson Raceway on November 20 and in the 64th Annual Turkey Night Grand Prix at Irwindale Speedway on November 25.
