Mt. Vernon Raceway will not be open tommrow due to the weather, and the amount of mud. We will be racing next year. Hope to see everyone at the banquet, and next season. Thank you Mt. Vernon Raceway Management
 
B.S. --- Where is all the mud? I was in Mt. Vernon this morning within 2 blocks of the track and I didn't see mud to stop the racing.
 
I respect Rick's decision. We have had a lot of rain in the last week. Just because u were 2 blocks from the track and it wasnt muddy there, doesnt mean the track wasnt muddy. Also, why battle with TCS for the Steel Block show? Paducah cancelled races for Saturday also i do believe.
