Mt. Vernon will be running a Coc Race on Saturday night. On Sunday we will have a $ 500 to win Hornet race starting at 4pm then bombers will run. Then rework track and have qualifying for LMS, MODS, & SBLM's, then a regular program. Pit Gates open at 2pm, Stands at 3pm

this is yet another way to **** us in for a 2 night event ,think we are gonna get at least start monry tonight ? what happenes when we get 30 cars, same pay as 16 cars that is pittiful

It is two different shows. It is not a two day event. It is as if you raced Friday somewhere, then Sat. night, except it is on Sat & Sunday, at the same track. :)

tri city speedway is running the world of outlaw late models on sunday. i hope you guys dont get any cars. im sure rodney wont be at tri city because he cant run with them and he needs a sure win to stay on top of the ump point lead. he can only get a sure win there because of rick . (owner of the track and car)
 
I don't like Melvin, but he wouldnt get ump points from Tri-City anyways so why would he run there? That would be stupid! I mean all of the guys who are running for UMP points are gonna run at Mt. Vernon or Belleville Sunday!
 
I like the idea of the Saturday and Sunday racing here.....tired of the rainouts and the weather looks like will cooperate both days!!

In my opionion this Thread was started to let all know about two nights of racing at the Mt. Vernon track, NOT a thread to start in on drivers or track owners.

I am glad that Rick is doing this. Yes I am not liking that Rodney wins pretty well every time he races here, but you can give credit to the guy when credit is due. Look at how well he did during the Summer Nationals.

Let's all be nice and get along.

Thanks Rick for having two night of racing. And for the ones that think Rodney can't win
or run with the big boys you need to look at Summer National I think he got 5th & in UMP
he is first.I don't think you can stay first just by winning at MtVernon.
