Mudd Off Recipe

Let's here some of your recipes for mudd off.......someone told me that an inexpensive way of keeping mud off of your car and making it easy to clean up is mixing baby oil and water in a spray bottle. This is cheaper than buying "mudd off" @ $10 a quart. Anyone use anything different???

I've used mudd off and baby oil and I think the baby oil mixture cleans up better and easier.. jmo... I get a lot of funny looks though going into Wal-Mart buy all that bulk baby oil..hehe

You DON'T use the mudd-off straight out of the bottle you dilute it down and it will make 5 gal and still do a great job ... Thats still pretty cheap.....

one little bottle last almost all year. What $10.. not too shabby. There really isn't a price difference..

In a crunch WD-40 works. Long-term on cheap paint might prove differently, but I've used it alot with no problems. Just spray and wipe until you coat the entire surface.

Baby oil is great, too. Just make sure you don't get either one on the drivers gloves OR the steering wheel.......

We used diluted fabric softener. Did the job and made the car smell good too!

Baby oil help keep mud off and also helps get strippers off , so i,m a big fan!

How much babby oil do ya use if ya half to buy it in bulk? How do ya get a stripper off? I know why the avon lady walks funny----- Her lips stick. And Im a big fan.
