NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series Banquet Set For February 26

Lexington, KY-February 3- The first year NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series will honor their top ten point-getters for its initial 2004 racing season on Saturday evening, February 26.

Kelly Warren of Columbia, KY won the points chase of the "BoB Mod Squad" in 2004 by a mere 15 markers over fellow Columbia, KY driver Leonard Pierce. Jimmy Payne would finish third in points, with Brandon Green and Russell Childress completing the top five.

The second five in the 2004 series points chase would be led by Ricky Arms, followed by Chris Riehle, Anthony Reams, Hank Bradley, and Jerry Rutherford.

The evening of honors will be at The Springs Inn, located in Lexington, KY. The cost of the banquet is $25 and tickets can be obtained by contacting the NARA office. If you would like overnight accomodations, there is a special $59.00 room rate for the evening by asking for the NARA rate. The meal will be served at 6:00 p.m. EST, with the awards ceremony to follow.
