LEXINGTON, KY--After a successful start for the new NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series last weekend at the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY the modified drivers get right back to work with back to back nights of racing this coming weekend. On Friday Night, May 14 the series heads to the Clinton County Speedway in Alpha, KY for a $1500 to win program. On Saturday Night the Modifieds will also be in action at the Soggy Bottom Speedway in Morgantown, KY also paying $1500 to win. At Soggy Bottom joining the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modifieds will be the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Late Model Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts.
There will be a complete show each night for the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Modifieds with Racing Optics Time Trials followed by Crown Spray Power Heat Races, O'Reilly Auto Parts B-Mains and the Lucas Oil A-Main paying $1500 to win and $125 to start.
Clinton County Speedway is located in Alpha, KY. Take State Road 90 going west of the Wayne Co line when you see the signs to the race track take North Pleasant Ridge Road. The track is located approximately 12 miles west of Monticello, KY. The track phone on race day is (606) 387-3308.
Soggy Bottom Speedway is located in Morgantown, KY. Take the Western Kentucky Parkway to the Natcher Parkway at exit 27, then two and half miles west on State Road 70 will be the race track.
