NARA BoB Open Wheel Modified Series Gears Up for 201 Speedway - July 16th

LEXINGTON, KY -- This Saturday, July 16th, the NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series makes the eastward swing for the series' second appearance of the 2005 season to the 201 Speedway.


On Saturday Night, July 16th, Kentucky's premier Open Wheel Modified series rolls into the 3/8-mile Sitka, KY track for the second time in 2005. In their first visit of the season, NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series point’s leader Joey Kramer, of Hanover, IN, took the win. A complete racing program is planned with Racing Optics Time Trials, VP Fuels Makin' Power Heat Races, Dale Meers Racing Engines/PBM Performance B-Mains and the Rattliff Motors A-Main paying $1500 to win. The complete purse for Saturday's program at 201 Speedway is listed below.

201 Speedway is located five and a half miles north of U.S. Highway 23 on State Route 201, just north of Sitka, KY. The track phone on race day is (606) 265-3201.



Seven races into the 2005 Tour for the BoB Modifieds, Joey Kramer leads the series standings followed by defending series champion Kelly Warren. Justin Rattliff sits in third with Hank Bradley and Adam Cole rounding out the top five.
