Nascar Busch Series Event At GIR To Feature Top Cup Stars, Teams

MADISON, Ill. - Some of the top names in NASCAR are scheduled to race
in the NASCAR Busch Series event at Gateway International Raceway
Saturday, July 21st. Defending race winner Carl Edwards leads a pack of Cup
Series drivers that includes former GIR winner Reed Sorenson, former
World of Outlaws champion Dave Blaney, former USAC champions J.J. Yeley
and Jason Leffler, and hometown favorite Kenny Wallace.

In addition, NASCAR's top teams will be represented at GIR, including
Evernham Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Chip
Canassi Racing with Felix Sabates, Hendrick Motorsports, Roush Fenway
Racing, Robert Yates Racing, and Michael Waltrip Racing.

"Gateway has long been a strategic proving ground for some of the best
drivers in the sport," said GIR Vice President and General Manager
Lenny Batycki. "We expect the July 21st race to be ultra competitive
considering the high level of talent we have entered."

ESPN2 is providing comprehensive coverage of the NASCAR Busch Series
race at GIR starting Friday, July 20th with a live telecast of NBS
practice. The Worldwide Leader in Sports will also provide live coverage of
qualifying Saturday at 3:30 p.m. local time, with the green flag
scheduled to drop for the race at 7:30 p.m.
