CARTERSVILLE, GA – There will be three Saturday night races in three different states on the schedule of events for Week 7 of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division. Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL will highlight the action with a $1,000-to-win race. Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS and St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA will also host Week 7 races.
Jerrod Fremin of Montz, LA leads the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 254 points, and holds an 11 point lead over Kevin Spears of Fayette, LA and Chad Hiers of Ocean Springs, MS, who have 243 points apiece. Trey Bright of Coker, AL is fourth with 242 points and Dave Nations of Raymond, MS is fifth with 239 points.
Wayne Medders of Morton, MS is sixth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 226 points and Stacy Herron of Kiln, MS holds down the seventh spot with 213 points. Eddie Willis of Saucier, MS is eighth with 208 points, and Brandon Leftwich of Meridian, MS is ninth with 201 points.
Roger Flynn of Denham Springs, LA rounds out the top ten of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 190 points. Flynn is still “Mr. Perfect” with four victories in four races.
Drivers that race at NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division tracks compete against each other through a points system that counts a driver’s best 14 weekly point totals during the 27-week season that runs through September 29. The 2013 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division champion will pocket $2,000 and the National point fund pays back to the Top 10 drivers at the end of the season.
