New SLM For Heat Request....

OK, I used to run dirt late models on my computer using the NASCAR Heat game...but man that was years ago on a computer long gone.

So I understand there is now a NEW dirt late model game, SLM? ...that you guys are using.

I know you get tired of the same old questions...so how about posting a step by step "How to" for a newbie using a new computer with XP?

There is also instructions there for those who don't have the game and would like to download the files that allow you to run this addon mod. I've also completed Tri-City and Belleville for the mod as well.
 
im kinda in the same boat as ghost i went to the site and registered but coudnt find anything specific for newbies to get started so any help would be appreciated
 
thanks that go me rolling but what type of controller or device can you or do you use other than the keyboard to drive the cars once again that was a big help and thank you
 
I registered my new user account, followed the link from my email and it took me to a screen that states new user activation error, no user in database? Any help?

Most people I know (including myself) use steering wheel and pedal....hope this helps.........
 
i used a gamepad contoler. its just what suited me. the keyboard is to hard i personally think....not enough throtle control. hope it helps.JB
 
we have been playin alot of dtr2 online lately ,,its good ,but i would like to get into this SLM,,,,, so do i buy nascar heat for pc and then download add ons im alittle confused ,as usual!!! please reply im off tommorow and would like to play thanx john goodson
 
John..goto sllingindirt.com..register there..goto forums. Then..goto the heat forum...everything there..you need. Just scroll...and look at the questions..and answers given there. All you need..is the nascar heat essentials file...patches...and a mod launcher file. Put them all..in the same file..when asked to...after downloading. And..read some of the help..questions..real informative. Those guys are pretty good at this sim stuff. Good luck
